About us
Baltengineering is a technological design and engineering company. The company was created to develop lab, pilot and production technologies, “turnkey” industrial solutions, as well as concept, basic and detailed design projects for pharmaceutical, food and other chemical related industries.
A specific occupation of the company is the development of microreactor technologies, the design and delivery of automated microreactor systems.
The company has an experienced and highly qualified personnel in the development of chemical synthesis technologies and analytical methods, as well as project design of lab and production facilities.
Baltengineering was established in 2018 and is within of the Baltros Group.“Baltengineering” is a resident of Special Economic Zone in Saint-Petersburg. The company has a valid membership for project design in certain construction self-regulation agency.

- Flow reactors Miprowa®, Lonza Flow Plate®, ART® platform
- Flow reactors are based on Modular MicroReaction System (MMRS) by Ehrfeld Mikrotechnik
- Flexible MMRS allows to construct various flow systems from more than 60 individual modules for a broad range of specific reactions
ADVANTAGES OF FLOW SYNTHESIS METHODS
- Precise control of the technological parameters: temperature, pressure, reaction time, mixing and stoichiometry
- Rapid mixing. Best mass transfer. Totally different hydrodynamics compared to traditional synthesis in batch reactors
- Extremely rapid heat distribution between coolant and reaction compound
- Less impurities due to fast heat exchange, precise mixing control and exact residence time inside flow reactor
- Enhanced safety. Synthesis takes place only in a reaction cell with a very small volume. Chemical process can be stopped immediately
- Multi-stage synthesis without intermediate isolation of semi products
- Good scalability of chemical processes with saving of all the technological parameters and product quality
